As part of the Ministry of Awqaf’s commitment to building children’s awareness on sound religious and national foundations and developing their behavior amid contemporary digital challenges, the ministry is organizing today, Friday, August 8, 2025, a number of scientific seminars under the program “Friday Meeting for Children” titled “Rationalizing the Use of Social Media is Essential for Proper Upbringing” in 27 major mosques across all directorates. This meeting is part of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative launched by the ministry to correct misconceptions and spread sound awareness. The meeting is dedicated to educating children on the optimal use of technology and social media and informing them of the dangers of uncontrolled use, contributing to instilling values of moderation, discipline, and self-monitoring among the youth.
The seminars are delivered by a group of imams and female preachers specialized in dealing with children, using simplified educational methods and language appropriate for their ages, within the ministry’s comprehensive awareness and educational plan to build a conscious national character from an early age.
