Al Ahly Club continues today, Tuesday, to receive candidacy applications for the elections for the period from 2025 to 2029, for one week only, starting this morning until 5 PM and until October 3rd.

The Board of Directors of Al Ahly Club called on the active members who have paid the annual subscription for the last financial year and have the right to attend the ordinary general assembly meeting, which will be held on October 30 and 31, to consider the following agenda:

• Approval of the minutes of the Board of Directors meeting delegated with the powers of the General Assembly dated 8-12-2024.
• Review of the Board of Directors’ report on its work for the financial year ending June 30, 2025, covering the period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, the activity program, the work plan for the new financial year, and the auditor’s report.
• Approval of the budget and final accounts for the financial year ending June 30, 2025, and the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026.
• Election of the Board of Directors for the 2025-2029 term.

The candidacy applications will be open from Saturday, September 27, 2025, for seven consecutive days until Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Al Ahly obtained approval from the administrative authority at the Ministry of Youth and Sports to open candidacy today instead of Monday as previously scheduled, after all previous procedures in the general assembly were properly completed.

This step comes as part of Al Ahly’s preparations to hold elections to choose the new Board of Directors on October 30 and 31, under close supervision by the judicial committee assigned to oversee the electoral process and ensure transparency and compliance with the law.

As the nomination period for the Al Ahly Board elections approaches, the club continues to prepare all procedures to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process, including verifying the completion of all required documents for candidates and supervising all logistical details related to voting.

Opening the nomination period is part of the pre-set timeline to give members the opportunity to actively participate in selecting a new board capable of leading Al Ahly in the coming phase.

The main focus remains on the nomination period for the Al Ahly Board elections and the active participation of members in voting, as this event represents an important opportunity to shape the club’s future, enhance administrative and technical stability, and ensure the continuity of the historic achievements Al Ahly has made over the past years.
