The National Center for Meteorology forecasted today – God willing – moderate to heavy thunderstorm rains leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and active winds stirring dust and sand, over parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Mecca regions, with a chance of fog formation over some highlands of these areas. Meanwhile, light thunderstorm rains with active winds are expected over parts of Hail, Madinah, Najran, and the southern parts of the Eastern Province.

The report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-45 km/h, reaching up to 55 km/h in the middle part, with thunderclouds forming in the southern part. Wave heights range from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching up to two and a half meters in the middle part. The sea state is light to moderate, becoming rough in the middle part, with thunderclouds in the southern part.

Surface winds over the Arabian Gulf are northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 12-32 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea state is light to moderate.
