Engineer Ahmed Shaaban, head of the Red Sea Water Company, inspected today the final works of the double Al-Karimat water pipeline currently being implemented to replace and renew the first phase of the line spanning 27 km. Shaaban emphasizes regular follow-up on the main water line supplying the governorate.
A specialized committee was formed from the Red Sea Water Company and affiliated companies to monitor daily works on the Al-Karimat water line, stressing the need to complete the project quickly according to the scheduled timeline as directed by the Prime Minister. Shaaban confirmed that these works will improve the quantities of water supplied from the line and enhance the services provided to the residents of the Red Sea governorate.
The company head also inspected the Al-Karimat water station, affirming commitment to operational and maintenance standards within the station and quality standards at work sites. He also visited the company’s laboratories, directing the laboratory sector to adhere to health standards for monitoring drinking water quality.
