Six Palestinians, including a child, have died in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, caused by the ongoing Israeli siege that prevents aid from entering amid the extermination war waged since October.
According to the Palestinian Wafa agency citing medical sources, the total number of malnutrition victims has risen to 367, including 131 children.
On August 22, the United Nations officially declared famine in Gaza, warning it would spread to Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and Khan Younis in the south by the end of September. Since then, 89 deaths due to malnutrition have been recorded in Gaza.
