Riyadh, August 17 /BNA/ – The Saudi main stock index closed today up by 63.80 points, reaching 10,897.39 points, amid trading valued at 3.2 billion Saudi Riyals. According to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency, the volume of traded shares reached 190 million shares, during which shares of 201 companies rose in value, while shares of 54 other companies declined. The shares of Lazurde, Halwani Brothers, Dar Al Arkan, Food Development, and Ata were the highest gainers, while shares of Tamkeen, Sinomi Retail, Naseej, SECO Saudi REIT, and Thimar were among the biggest losers, with percentages ranging between 9.40% and 3%. In terms of activity, shares of Shams, Al Andiya Sports, Americana, Saudi Aramco, and Anabeeb topped the list of most traded by quantity, while shares of Al Andiya Sports, Saudi Aramco, Al Rajhi, STC, and Alinma were the most active by value.
