This system is expected to be implemented within two to three years.
Andrei Dutov, General Director of the Russian Zhukovsky Institute, announced at the “Technoprom-2025” forum in Novosibirsk the development of the “Smart Pilot Assistant” system based on artificial intelligence.
The system will enhance flight safety by providing accurate information to the pilot, helping them make better decisions in a timely manner. It will also include “technical vision,” which enhances human eye capabilities in difficult flying conditions such as fog and night flying.
This development aims to reduce reliance on the human factor, which is a major cause of air accidents, and to open horizons for the development of fully autonomous air control systems.
The system is expected to be implemented within two to three years.
