Expo Sharjah Center witnessed on Wednesday the launch of the first edition of the Middle East Cosmetics Exhibition 2025. The event is organized by the center and supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, running for five days until October 12, with participation from over 200 local and international beauty and innovation brands.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Chamber and Expo Sharjah, in the presence of Walid Abdulrahman Boukhater, Second Deputy Chairman, members of the chamber, Mohamed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, General Manager of the Chamber, Saif Mohammed Al Madfa, CEO of Expo Sharjah, along with senior officials, diplomats, and representatives from the cosmetics industry.

Attendees toured the exhibition halls spanning over 2,000 square meters, learning about more than 5,000 products covering various beauty and personal care fields.

Abdullah Sultan Al Owais emphasized that the chamber’s support for the exhibition reflects its commitment to commercial events that strengthen Sharjah’s and the UAE’s global leadership in the exhibition sector, contributing to economic diversification by attracting investments and developing fast-growing sectors regionally and internationally.

He noted that the exhibition serves as a gateway to one of the fastest-growing cosmetics markets worldwide, with the Middle East and Africa’s beauty and personal care market expected to reach $28.30 billion by 2028.

Saif Mohammed Al Madfa, CEO of Expo Sharjah, stated that organizing the exhibition with chamber support reflects the interest in keeping pace with promising sectors like cosmetics, enabling the community to discover the latest global trends and innovations, making the event a business platform and a distinguished destination for beauty enthusiasts.

Innovations and Entrepreneur Support

The exhibition prioritizes supporting the cosmetics industry in the UAE and Gulf, empowering local creators and brands. It hosts more than eight specialized sectors covering all aspects of cosmetics, from makeup and skincare to perfumes and organic products.

The Sharjah Chamber launched a platform to support entrepreneurs in the beauty sector, featuring six Emirati entrepreneurs in its first edition, showcasing projects blending cultural heritage with innovation.

Latest Trends and Attendance

The event features over 150 live makeup and beauty technique shows supervised by global experts, offering workshops, free consultations, and exclusive discounts. The first day saw a large turnout of visitors exploring the latest products and trends, with the exhibition continuing until October 12 with specific daily hours.
