Israeli media revealed the date for the arrival of Israeli prisoners in Tel Aviv, confirming that the Israeli government will transfer the prisoners to their families next Sunday after activating the first phase agreement with Hamas.
The Israeli media explained that the handover of Israeli prisoners will take place without any ceremonies, noting that the prisoners will be handed over to the Israeli side early next week.
It was clarified that both parties made concessions during the negotiations, confirming that Israel agreed to certain changes in the yellow withdrawal line, and the living prisoners will be released next Sunday, along with a large number of bodies. The remaining remains will be delivered the following week.
The Israeli media pointed out that Hamas obtained guarantees from mediators that the ceasefire will continue as long as both parties adhere to the conditions of the Trump plan, banning any hostile acts of any kind, and that humanitarian aid will be immediately introduced through five crossings including the Rafah crossing. It was noted that negotiations regarding the arrangements to end the war and the second phase will begin after the Jewish holidays.
In Tel Aviv, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated US President Donald Trump in a phone call on the historic achievement of signing the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement, and Netanyahu invited President Trump to deliver a speech before the Israeli Knesset.
