The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) announced on Tuesday the launch of a new digital service called the “Partnership Exchange,” available on its official website.
The platform serves as an interactive space aimed at connecting investors with Algerian and foreign project holders, enabling the establishment of joint investment projects.
The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency is a public institution with administrative status, possessing legal personality and financial independence, operating under the supervision of the Prime Minister.
The agency plays a pivotal role in creating an attractive environment for investors and enhancing Algeria’s position as a regional and international investment destination through a wide range of strategic tasks and functions.
The agency works to promote and enhance investment inside and outside Algeria in coordination with diplomatic and consular representations, managing the digital investor platform, registering and processing investment files, as well as supporting investors in completing various procedures and managing the benefits granted to projects.
In the field of information, the agency provides reception and information services, collects and publishes documents and data related to investment, and establishes advanced information systems and databases on business opportunities and real estate intended for investment, ensuring investors have access to all necessary information.
Regarding facilitation, the agency manages the digital investor platform, evaluates the investment climate, proposes measures to improve it, and provides data related to investment opportunities, incentives, and benefits, enhancing investor confidence in the Algerian market.
It also contributes to investment promotion through initiatives of promotional activities inside and outside Algeria, preparing national and local investment promotion plans, establishing partnerships with similar foreign bodies, and developing cooperative relations that open new horizons for investors.
The agency places importance on supporting investors through guidance and consulting services, resorting to external expertise when needed, as well as accompanying them with other administrations to simplify procedures and ensure smooth transactions.
In the field of managing privileges, the agency oversees the preparation and modification of investment registration certificates, identification of structured projects, conclusion of related agreements, endorsement of lists of goods and services eligible for benefits, and issuing decisions to withdraw privileges when necessary.
At the follow-up level, the agency relies on precise monitoring mechanisms to verify investors’ compliance with their obligations, handle their petitions and complaints, and develop listening and follow-up services, ensuring continuous support and monitoring of investment projects’ progress.
