Eight Palestinians were injured, including three by live bullets, during an Israeli army raid in central Ramallah in the West Bank. According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), local sources reported that three citizens were shot with live bullets near the vegetable market in central Ramallah, while Israeli snipers took positions on several rooftops. The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that three injured were transferred to the hospital: a child shot in the back near the Hasba market, a young man injured in the hand, and another in the thigh. Additionally, an elderly man was hit by rubber bullets, and five others suffered tear gas inhalation, including two pregnant women. The occupation forces also arrested at least three citizens in the besieged area of central Ramallah and Al-Bireh.
Rubber bullets were fired at a journalists’ vehicle causing damage, and soldiers suppressed participants in the National Day to reclaim the bodies of martyrs held by occupation authorities at the Baladna Center in Al-Bireh.
