The final accounts of Kuwait’s budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025, which ended on March 31, showed an actual deficit of 1.056 billion Kuwaiti dinars ($3.46 billion), much lower than the estimated deficit of 5.6 billion dinars in the draft budget. Official data published in the official gazette on Sunday indicated actual revenues of 22.057 billion dinars, including 19.358 billion dinars from oil revenues. Expected revenues were 18.9 billion dinars. Meanwhile, expenditures amounted to 23.113 billion dinars, which is less than the 24.5 billion dinars anticipated in the draft budget.
