Investors in stocks are looking forward to the midweek session on Wednesday with optimism following a quick rebound as UAE stocks returned to their upward trajectory on Tuesday, driven by investors pumping purchases into multiple sectors, primarily real estate and banks, after a volatile session.
The Dubai market index closed Tuesday’s session up 0.7% at 6010.89 points, while the Abu Dhabi market index rose 0.24% to 10034.1 points.
The stocks attracted total liquidity of about 1.9 billion dirhams, including 1.09 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market and 807.3 million dirhams in the Dubai market. The traded volume reached 504.4 million shares, distributed as 293.3 million shares in Abu Dhabi and 211.13 million shares in Dubai, through 35,427 transactions.
