Major General Dr. Reda Farhat, Vice President of the Conference Party and Professor of Political Science, stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s invitation to former U.S. President Donald Trump to continue supporting political efforts in Gaza and to visit Egypt after achieving calm represents a message of peace and strength simultaneously. It reflects Egypt’s keenness to open up and communicate with all influential international parties to achieve security and stability in the region.
Farhat explained that President Sisi’s remarks on the situation in Gaza during his speech at the Police Academy’s graduation ceremony embody Egypt’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinian people, rejecting aggression, and the persistent pursuit of a ceasefire and civilian relief. He pointed out that this position stems from the constants of Egyptian policy, which are based on maintaining regional stability and defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The Conference Party Vice President confirmed that President Sisi’s speech was comprehensive and expressive of the spirit of the current phase Egypt is experiencing, containing clear messages for both domestic and international audiences, carrying confidence, reassurance, and clarity of vision. He noted that the President’s praise of the blessing of security and safety reflects a deep awareness of the stability Egypt enjoys thanks to the unity of its people and the cohesion of its institutions despite the turmoil and conflicts in the region.
Farhat added that President Sisi’s affirmation that “there is no room for concern as long as Egyptians are united” embodies his belief in the Egyptian people’s awareness and resilience in facing challenges and reflects the mutual trust between the leadership and the people, which is the pillar that has preserved the state’s stability during the toughest times.
The political science professor also noted that the President’s speech included important economic references, confirming that the state is steadily moving towards construction and development despite global challenges, and that Egypt, with its balanced policies and realistic vision, is capable of protecting its national security, supporting its Palestinian brothers, and confidently advancing on the path of development and peace.
