Osama Abdel Karim, former goalkeeper coach of the Olympic national team, expressed his appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s significant efforts in hosting the Peace Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, aimed at signing an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip and restore stability to the Middle East.
In exclusive statements to “Youm7,” Osama Abdel Karim said the global peace conference in Sharm El-Sheikh reflects Egypt’s regional and international stature and its historic and steadfast role in supporting the Palestinian cause.
He emphasized that all Egyptian state institutions were strongly present politically, humanitarianly, and in the media to support the Palestinian people, which earned the Egyptian initiative respect and appreciation at both the Arab and international levels.
He affirmed that Egypt, led by President El-Sisi, will always remain a strong supporter of just and comprehensive peace, a bulwark against attempts to undermine regional stability, and that the Palestinian cause will remain at the heart of Egypt’s priorities until the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights.
