The US dollar exchange rate witnessed a noticeable change today, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, against the Egyptian pound according to the latest updates from Egyptian banks. The Central Bank of Egypt set the dollar buying price at 48.44 EGP and the selling price at 48.57 EGP. Similar rates were recorded at major banks such as the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr. For example, the National Bank of Egypt offered 48.45 EGP for buying and 48.55 EGP for selling, while the Commercial International Bank (CIB) had the same rates.
