The US dollar exchange rate showed a noticeable change against the Egyptian pound according to the latest recorded transactions at Egyptian banks on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The Central Bank of Egypt listed the rate at 47.97 EGP for buying and 48.11 EGP for selling.

The dollar rate at the National Bank of Egypt was 48 EGP for buying and 48.10 EGP for selling, at Banque Misr 48 EGP for buying and 48.11 EGP for selling, at Bank of Cairo 48 EGP for buying and 48.11 EGP for selling, and at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) 47.98 EGP for buying and 48.11 EGP for selling.

The dollar rates at some major banks were as follows:

• National Bank of Egypt: 48 EGP for buying.
• Bank of Alexandria: 48 EGP for buying and 48.11 EGP for selling.
• Commercial International Bank (CIB): 47.98 EGP for buying and 48.11 EGP for selling.
• Bank of Cairo: 48 EGP for buying.
